1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) ensures that all sellers and buyers use our platform safely and that no prohibited content or activities occur.

By using our marketplace, you agree to this AUP. Violations of this policy may result in the suspension of your seller account.

2. Permitted and Prohibited Products

Permitted Products

  • Handmade dollhouse miniatures (e.g., furniture, decorations, accessories).
  • Commercial miniatures from third-party sellers, provided they comply with the marketplace rules.
  • Materials for dollhouse construction (e.g., wood, fabrics, small tools).

Prohibited Products

  • Counterfeit branded products or products that infringe copyrights.
  • Illegal, stolen, or fraudulent goods.
  • Food or perishable products.
  • Drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, or other controlled substances.
  • Dangerous or harmful materials (e.g., toxic paints).
  • Weapons, explosive materials, or dangerous tools.
  • Products with offensive or discriminatory content.

💡 Sellers are obliged to ensure that their products comply with all applicable laws.

3. Sales Guidelines for Sellers

Sellers must:

  • Provide honest and accurate product descriptions.
  • Provide correct prices and shipping costs.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and orders in a timely manner.
  • Be the owner of the products offered or have a sales license.
  • Not create spam or fake listings.

Sellers must not:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent product information.
  • Make agreements with other sellers on prices or fake ratings.
  • Infringe copyrights, trademark rights, or patents.
  • Sell products that fall under the list of prohibited goods.

4. Buyer Guidelines

Buyers must:

  • Make genuine purchases and not place fake orders.
  • Conduct the buying process fairly and honestly.
  • Handle returns and complaints in accordance with the marketplace guidelines.

Buyers may not:

  • Pressure sellers to sell outside the marketplace.
  • Send spam messages or harassment to sellers.
  • Submit false disputes or fraudulent chargebacks to PayPal.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

The Dollhouse Corner reviews violations of the AUP by:

  • Manual review of listings and seller accounts.
  • Buyer and seller reports (report function).
  • Automatic filters for certain keywords (e.g., banned terms).

Sellers who violate the AUP can expect the following consequences:

  1. First warning with a request for correction.
  2. Temporary blocking of the seller account in the event of repeated violations.
  3. Permanent blocking and removal of listings in the event of serious or repeated violations.

6. Changes to the AUP

This Acceptable Use Policy may be updated at any time. Sellers and buyers are obliged to inform themselves regularly about changes.
